Daddy Has To Pee

When you're the father of two daughters and their sole caregiver during the day, you will inevitably be faced with the dilemma of what to do when you're out in public and you have go to the bathroom. When you have only one child and they're still young, it's pretty easy - you just wheel the stroller into the men's room, turn them so they're facing the wall, then take care of business. Even still, I remember almost panicing the first time it happened. Can I take my daughter in the men's room? What will she see?! Luckily, I'm out with the girls when most of the rest of the world is at work. It's just me and a bunch of moms at the mall, so I pretty much have a private bathroom wherever I go.

When you have two, however, things are a bit trickier. If you're smart, you'll bring the stroller, even if the younger one doesn't need it. It's still a great place to store things, including a child that you're taking into the men's room. The older one, however, is still free to walk around and explore. "Daddy..., what's this?" she asks, pointing to a urinal, reaching for the "mint" in the bottom. Your best bet is to find a "Family" restroom, as they tend to be much roomier and have private bathroom with no urinals.

Even still, I haven't pee'd standing up in about 4 years. Wouldn't want to confuse them, you know?

oh... I feel your pain.

Personally, I enjoy the restrooms that are too small for the stroller.
