Enough Already!

It's been a month! A month of sick and snot. The girls got sick on Halloween and they're still sick. Took them back to the doctors today to find out that Grace - how had been on antibiotics for a double ear infection just days ago - now has another ear infection. Or maybe the same one..., it just might not have gone away. Poor Quinn apparently is just fighting cold after cold.

I didn't want to bring them back to the doctor..., for the third time in a month! When I was a kid, I never went to the doctor. That's not an exaggeration. My parents never took us to the doctor. Well, there was that time a huge piece of furniture fell on all three of us at the same time - I broke my arm and was knocked out cold; the TV punctured my sisters head; and my younger brother got off lucky with not even a scratch - THAT time they took us to the doctor. But usually, it didn't matter HOW sick you were, as long as we were still breathing, we stayed home.

My children have been to the doctor more times in two years than I have my entire life. No joke. My wife laughs and wonders how we all survived.
