WTF!

Grace woke up today crying for no apparent reason. My wife takes one look at her and says, "I bet she has another ear infection." She's had a couple in the past, and each time she didn't display typical kid-with-an-ear-infection behavior. No tugging at her ears; no problems sleeping. So I call and make a doctor's appointment.

Quinn has been coughing again. Two nights in a row, she's coughed herself awake and come into our room to go back to sleep. During the day she's been a zombie - pale and shouting, "BRAINS!!!" (Just Kidding) Pale and not eating much.

It's been three weeks. We've had enough already. What's up? We're supposed to host Thanksgiving next week and it's not looking good. "Hi. Thanks for coming. Here's your turkey with mucus and a side of croup!"

The appointment was late in the day, so my wife had to take them. Before she left, I said jokingly, "Give me a call on your way to the pharmacy." So..., she gives me a call on the way to the pharmacy! Grace DOES have an ear infection and they put Quinn on antibiotics due to the fact that she can't seem to shake whatever it is she has.

Ugh!
