Singin' to the Oldies

Quinn and her preschool class put on a little concert for the high school's "Senior-to-Senior" breakfast today. It's a chance for seniors citizens at local homes to visit the high school for a free breakfast, a concert by the chorus and some chit-chat with members of the senior class (although I can't imagine how those conversations must go). Anyway, Quinn's class sang three songs for them - it was all very cute.

Of course, all of the parents were there with their cameras and we all lined up when the children were brought in and readied ourselves to capture the moment. There was one mom, however, who felt it was okay for her to break the ranks, and positioned herself in front of the line of parents for a better shot of her kid. So now, all of our videos have this disembodied hand holding a video camera sticking up from the bottom of the frame, like some sort of electronic Loch Ness Monster. I was VERY annoyed! If I had a pair of hedge clippers with me, I would have severed her arm at the wrist.

I know how much everyone hates sitting through other people's home movies, but for those of you looking to see some cute kids singing a few Christmas carols..., enjoy.
